ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The next NCDAA seminar will be "The Thing That You Do or Getting Your Trial Plan in Place." The program will focus on pre-trial preparation from motions to closing statements. Program chair is NCDAA Secretary Bell Island of Scottsbluff. The program will be held on Friday, March 7, 2008 at the Holiday Inn-Downtown in Lincoln. Cost is $135.00 for NCDAA members and judges and $190.00 for non members.

Featured speakers include Steve Lindsay of Ashville, North Carolina. He is a practicing criminal defense attorney and makes time to teach and lecture to lawyers across the country. He is also a long time instructor at the National Criminal Defense College and has written numerous articles on criminal defense topics. Steve is returning to Nebraska once again to provide helpful and practical suggestions for better outcomes in your cases. More speakers are yet to be announced.

On Saturday morning there will be a short presentation and the opportunity to discuss applications of theories presented to specific criminal cases. This session will be moderated by Steve Lindsay. Attendance will be limited to 25 seminar attendees, with preference given to NCDAA members. Cost is $25.00 additional.
